Bedtime Stories Are Priceless

I found a website with which I agree 100 percent. It's http://www.ireadgoodbooks.com/2008/11/01/bedtime-stories.html and explains the importance of reading to your children. Not just reading books, illustrating the story through your voice.

This is on my dog site because of the recent practice of reading with dogs. Research showed that children with difficulty reading were more willing to read aloud to a dog. Takes off the pressure, you don't get corrected, and the dog is interested in what you read. Therapy dogs are now helping in schools by sitting quietly while a child reads to them.

While this is helpful, nothing will ever replace bedtime reading. Children look forward to bedtime when an exciting story awaits them. Don't disappoint them. Read. You'll never regret the time. Visit the website for lots of great information.
