No Bones About It!

I'm sure most of you already know that poultry bones are extremely dangerous to your dogs and so you throw them away carefully wrapped in lots of newspaper or or inside a milk carton to help keep the dogs away from the garbage. But the next step is to remove the garbage to a location where the dogs never go. Don't trust even your most well-behaved dog not to follow his nose right to that bag of garbage in which you have so cleverly hidden the bones.

When dogs chew and break the bones, they splinter. The tiny pieces are very sharp and can do irreparable damage to your dog's intestines, stomach, and everywhere else those slivers travel. If you are lucky enough to know that your dog is in trouble, go immediately to an animal emergency room. That's your only chance to save them if the sharp part has ripped something and they are bleeding internally.

Internal damage may not show up immediately and you'll think the dog is okay. But a few hours later you may begin to see some blood in the urine and then don't wait another second. Now you're in a life or death situation.

I am not trying to "rain" on your holiday. Rather, I am trying to ensure that everyone, especially the dog, has a great time.

I wrote a review of your web article and it is posted at my site, Controversialpolitics.com.
The advice is very good, and it serves to remind me of how many people do not heed that advice, because they simply do not know.
