Most
of the time, you probably enjoy having your dog close to you, maybe
sitting on your lap or next to you. You may allow your dog to paw at
you as well as other behaviors.
But sometimes having the dog close to you or pawing at you is not what
you want. You don't want your dog to paw or lean against you if you are
wearing shorts or carrying hot coffee.
Teach your dog the command "Get Off Me!" It means just what it says.
You want your dog to respect your space and to settle down. This
command is very useful if you are not feeling well or recovering from
an injury.
