Virginia Jane

Hi! It's been such a long time since there's been news here. My mom had surgery and has to wear something on her arm. I guess it hurts her to use it so she can't really type.

My name is Virginia Jane and I am one of the three golden retrievers that live here. I am the most responsible one, that's why I've taken matters into my own paws to write to you. The other goldens are Gracie and Charlie Joe.

Gracie is old and gray and can hardly walk, but when we go swimming she's actually very good at it.

Charlie Joe is just a royal pain. He always has to be the center of attention and he does whatever he has to do to get there. The word subtlety is not part of his vocabulary. But he is the father of my two litters and a good father, so I won't bash him.

Tomorrow I'm going to write about what really bugs me. The Obama dog. What were they thinking?
