Halloween Hilarity

As I mentioned in a previous blog, dressing up dogs is a practice many of us enjoy. I will admit that the only embarrassment I have ever placed on my golden retrievers are antlers during the holidays. I think my goldens look cute. They look miserable. I still think they look cute.

Owners can be super imaginative when it comes to costumes. Here are just a few. What do you think? Clever? Silly?

From all the costumes not too difficult to put together, this one is probably my fav The Not So Itsy Pitsy Spider

orite, although I keep changing my mind. (keep scrolling). See what I mean though? The dog looks less than thrilled with his new legs. But it is very clever and quite cute. This is no "Itsy Bitsy Spider"!

Now here is a real football hero. He looks absolutely like he's

in charge of the team, getting ready to wing that ball down the field. This costume looks like it required some thought and talent, but even the dog seems okay with it. I think it's quite clever.

What I especially like about this costume is that the fishy dog is photographed in the perfect environment. And he looks very comfortable in his suit.

I enjoyed reading your article. It sounds like you have a lot of fun on Halloween. My husband is graduating with an elementary teaching degree Nov 7. We thinking about getting a cap and gown for our dog Moose.
