My son Joe was always interested in computers. We had a Texas Instruments when he was a boy and we often sat together trying to create programs. He never lost that love. After graduating from Cornell University, and while working on his Ph.D. at the University of California at Berkeley, he and two friends started their own company. I thought "How brave. How impossible". How wrong I was. His company now has 30+ employees and he flew to London to open an office there.
